Parenthood is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences most of us will ever have. But in the middle of busy days, runny noses, and driving kids to various activities, we sometimes forget to enjoy the journey.
To equip and encourage parents, Westminster Presbyterian Church is pleased to offer Focus on the Family’s Essentials of Discipline, a video and workbook series beginning January 6th and continuing throughout through March 24th.
WPC has endeavored to meet the need for a parenting ministry within the framework of Wednesdays@Westminster, a fun-filled evening providing all the elements of fellowship for all generations. A Dream Team came together last fall to review many different offerings for a new parenting class. Criteria were established, and after several months of working together, the decision for the material was made. Please know that you were prayed for throughout the process; that God may be glorified by the growth and transformation of parents within this new ministry.
We meet in the conference room near the Activity Center (Room C113) from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Childcare is available for youngsters under kindergarten age at a cost of $3.00 (dinner for the child is included), or $36.00 for 12 weeks. Dinner for adults is available at a cost of $4.00 per person, or $48.00 per person for 12 weeks. We encourage you to enroll your older children in our wonderful Logos program, Club 67 or Confirmation.
