“The With-God Life”.

Looking for a way to renew your commitment to living a "With-God Life"?
Come to the workshop on May 28 at 7:00pm to discover a framework and support for your spiritual journey.

This phrase and the six areas presented below come from author Richard Foster and Renovare, an organization that supports churches in their commitment to encouraging spiritual disciplines.
Foster writes the following:
The Bible is all about human life “with God.” It is about how God has made this “with-God” life possible and will bring it to pass. In fact, the name Immanuel, meaning in Hebrew “God is with us,” is the title given to the one and only Redeemer, because it refers to God’s everlasting intent for human life—namely, that we should be in every aspect a dwelling place of God.

We are “shaping up” our lives in the following areas:

The Prayer-Filled Life
The Virtuous Life
The Spirit-Empowered Life
The Compassion ate Life
The Word-Centered Life
The Sacramental Life

Through a combination of assigned Bible readings, readings by both contemporary and classic authors, and "world cafe's", participants are encouraged to live a "With-God" life.
